The striking Starlight necklace in white gold and sparkling diamonds is beautiful modern statement fine jewel. The necklace features four articulated sculptural stars which gradually increase in size from a small single diamond star to a bright diamond embellished large white gold star all in highly polished 18k white gold.
29 Diamonds, round brilliant cut in 3, 2.5, 2, and 1mm diameters.
White gold, solid 18 karat. Hallmarked with the Daou name, by Goldsmiths Hall in London.
Made in London.
The necklace is finished with a venetian box chain so the total necklace measures 45cm (18 inches) around.
The hinged stars measure 18cm across all together, and star sizes increase from 18mm to 40mm across and 8mm deep.
Eternal stars shine sending ephemeral sparks fly. The Star sparkles with light in a stunning geometric sculptural design that catches and reflects the light from highly polished facets that appear to be in motion around the central brilliant gemstone. The distinctly bright radiant star appears to float on the wearer. Elegant and innovative, a thoughtful frame design adds depth at the reverse, so important in jewellery. Sparks fire here there and everywhere combining in a myriad of shimmering angles. Inspired by science, sentiment, and Daou history. Daou means ‘light’, and in reference to the 1930’s heritage, the light is returned in a contemporary Art Deco style jewel.
